In July 2006, Tom Shellenberg and Matt Dowdell purchased three Ace Hardware stores:  Anaconda 59711, Montana 59047, Butte 59701, 59072, 59703, 59707, 59750, Montana 59701, 59750, and Livingston 59047, Montana 59711.  Their vision then, and still to this day, is to be "the best employer in the three communities."
